Alvaton is northeast of us, on the south side of Bowling Green. The properties there tend to be newer builds on larger lots, which means a lot of concrete — driveways, walkways, patios, and garage floors that have never been professionally cleaned since the house was finished.
Newer concrete in Alvaton often still has construction residue on it — mortar splatter, paint overspray, and tire marks from the build. That comes off far more easily than decades of embedded grime, so a first cleaning on a newer home is usually one of the most cost-effective jobs we do.

Kentucky humidity is what puts the green on the north and shaded walls of a house here, and it is a living thing rather than dirt — which is why washing it off with pressure alone brings it back within months. A soft wash treats it, and the difference shows in how long the house stays clean.
Almost every dark-streaked roof in south-central Kentucky has the same cause, and it is not dirt. It is an algae that feeds on the limestone in the shingle, and left alone it shortens the life of the roof. It is treated, never pressure washed.

That is the easiest concrete we clean, because none of it has had time to soak in yet. Leave it another five summers and it stops being the easy job it is today.
